What is User Confidence?

Confidence is a metric that allows users to record their understanding of the modules provided by Mitilearn. When you sit and complete courses, it is expected that your confidence score will rise as you become more familiar with the subject matter. A more confident user is more likely to be able to spot cyber security risks and understand the best practices with data and device handling.

At the beginning and end of each module you will be asked to rate your confidence based on the topics from 1-5:

1 Star

  • You have never heard of these topics.
  • You would not be able to explain any of these topics.

2 Stars

  • You have heard of elements of these topics.
  • You would struggle to explain any of these topics.

3 Stars

  • You have some understanding of these topics.
  • You would be able to partially explain some areas of these topics.

4 Stars

  • You have an understanding of most of these topics.
  • You would be able to explain most areas of these topics.

5 Stars

  • You have a solid understanding of all topics.
  • You would be able to explain all areas of these topics in detail.

You can track your confidence journey from your User Dashboard!
