Onboarding Checklist

Welcome to the Mitigate Hub!

First off, congratulations on signing up to the Mitigate Hub - you made the right choice! To get your company started, your dedicated account manager will set your account up and send you a registration email. Once you have access to Mitigate Hub, you can use this to set up your Mitilearn account ready for your team.


To successfully onboard your team onto the platform, follow this checklist:

  1. Create your 'Departments'.
  2. Upload your policies/courses (if required).
  3. Create 'Learning settings'.
  4. Upload your 'Users'.


Here is the full breakdown:


1. Create your 'Departments' - Within the navigation bar, you can create your custom departments that your users will be allocated to. 


2. Upload your policies or create your custom courses:

  • Go to the 'Admin' tab on the navigation bar.
  • Select 'Courses'.
  • Select the course you wish to add your policy to, i.e. Cyber.
  • Use the drop-down to select the module you would like the policy to appear under.
  • Click 'Add New Policy'.
  • Fill in all the relevant fields e.g. name, order, etc.
  • Using the 'Choose File' button, select the policy.
  • Add any questions you want to be answered before you allow a user to sign the policy.
  • Click 'Add Policy'.
  • Repeat the process for each policy you need to upload.


3. Create your 'Learning Settings':


Learning settings will set the below conditions in place for each course/department:

  • Course Expiry - How long the course is valid for until the user needs to resit the training  you can set a course to never expire by unselecting the tick box.
    Course Completion DeadlineHow long the user has to complete the training from the date they are registered.
    Maximum Assessment Attempts - How many times a user can fail an assessment before they are locked from continuing with the course. The administrator will then be notified via email and will need to unlock the user before continuing. For more information on resetting users, please go to the "Resetting User Progress" articles. 
  • Once you have created a 'Learning Setting', this will be applied to all applicable users and can be viewed/edited on the Learning Settings page, if required.


4. Gather your user information ready for upload:


You will need to collate your user information into a CSV file - you can do this by using our template located within the user's tab or by creating your own with the following columns:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Job Title
  • Department
  • Role
  • Start Date


5. Upload your users:

  • Select 'Usersfrom the navigation bar.
  • Click on the 'Bulk Create' button.
  • Click on the 'Choose File' button and select your CSV file.
  • Click 'Create'.
  • Users will be uploaded onto the system and will then receive their registration emails.
  • The users will be enrolled in all courses that their department has 'Learning Settings' - If their department has no Learning Settings, the user will be enrolled when a 'Learning Setting' is created.


6. Start your journey to Trusted Status!
